Questions
How far ahead can I schedule?
Up to 60 days. The scheduled time is visible in the scheduled_at field of the message.
What if my phone is offline at that time?
It does not need to be online. The linked number works in the OTP Run cloud like WhatsApp Web, so reminders go out even when the phone is switched off.
Can clients reply to a reminder?
Yes. Replies arrive in the same WhatsApp chat on your phone and are available through the API and the message.inbound webhook.
Can I send reminders to contacts by name?
Yes. Save contacts with names and aliases, and use a name wherever a phone number is expected.
