Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and OTPRun, the operator of OTPRun (we, us). By creating an account, using the API or the MCP server, or connecting an app to OTPRun, you accept these terms.

If you use OTPRun on behalf of a company, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it, and “you” means that company.

OTPRun lets businesses send WhatsApp and Telegram messages and one-time verification codes through an HTTP API, an MCP server and a web dashboard.

• WhatsApp messages are sent from your own WhatsApp numbers, which you link to OTPRun as a linked device.
• Telegram messages are sent through the @OTPRun_bot bot.
• The service can create and check verification codes, receive incoming messages on your linked numbers and report delivery statuses.

We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we remove a feature that you actively use on a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for everything done with your account and your API keys.

• Keep your password and API keys secret. Anyone who has a key can send messages on your behalf.
• Give team members only the access they need.
• If you think a key or your account has been compromised, revoke the key in the dashboard and tell us right away.

An API key is shown in full only once, when it is created. We cannot recover a lost key, but you can create a new one.

You are the sender of the messages you send through OTPRun, and you are responsible for them. In particular, you must:

• have the right to message each recipient, including any consent that the law requires;
• stop messaging recipients who ask you to stop;
• comply with the anti-spam, data protection and consumer protection laws that apply to you and your recipients;
• comply with the terms and policies of WhatsApp and Telegram;
• tell your own users how you process their data, for example in your privacy policy.

You will compensate us for claims and costs caused by messages that you send in breach of these terms or the law.

You must not use OTPRun to:

• send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or messages to bought or scraped lists of numbers;
• send illegal, fraudulent, misleading, threatening or harassing content, or content that infringes the rights of others;
• impersonate another person or company, or send phishing messages;
• spread malware or collect other people’s passwords or codes;
• bypass the limits or security measures of OTPRun, WhatsApp or Telegram, or try to access data of other customers.

Plans without per-message fees are meant for the normal business use of one customer. To protect your numbers from being blocked and to keep the service stable for everyone, we pace sending: messages may be spaced out, limited per number and per day, and queued instead of being sent all at once. Verification requests may also be limited per recipient and per IP address.

If your usage harms the service or other customers, or looks like abuse, we may slow it down or ask you to move to a plan that fits it.

We work to keep OTPRun available and to deliver every message quickly, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or that any message will be delivered, delivered on time or read.

Delivery depends on WhatsApp, Telegram, mobile networks and the recipient’s device, which we do not control. WhatsApp or Telegram may limit, suspend or block your numbers or bots at any time, including because of how recipients react to your messages. We are not responsible for such actions and cannot reverse them.

Do not rely on OTPRun as the only way to reach people in an emergency.

Current plans and prices are shown on the pricing page. The free plan comes with the limits described there.

• Paid plans are billed in advance for each billing period.
• Pay-as-you-go channels, where offered, are charged at the prices shown when you use them.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then.
• Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.

We may change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription.

You keep all rights to the data and content you send through OTPRun. You allow us to process it only as needed to provide the service. For recipient data, we act on your instructions. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, how long we keep it and how you can delete it.

You can stop using OTPRun and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or limit your account, a number or an API key without notice if we reasonably believe that you breach these terms, if WhatsApp, Telegram or an authority requires it, or if it is needed to protect the service, recipients or other customers. Where possible, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem.

We may close your account for serious or repeated breaches or for non-payment. After that, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, or for losses caused by WhatsApp, Telegram, networks or recipients. Our total liability for all claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before it takes effect.

If you keep using OTPRun after that, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction named below, and disputes are resolved by its competent courts, unless the mandatory law of the country where you live gives you the right to go to court there.
